The purpose of this presentation is to allow participants to understand the process of transitioning to a 50% on campus clinical simulation model in a BSN psychiatric mental health course. Nine major steps went into the successful planning of this transition including virtual simulations as pre-simulation experiences. With an expert team in place and a thoroughly planned out timeline the transition to 50% simulation went smoothly with positive student learning outcomes.
