Abstract
- I had published two peer reviewed articles on the American writer Ambrose Bierce, wherein I identify and expound upon a narrative device created by Bierce. This narrative device has been used by several prominent writers as well as filmmakers. The reference volume Short Story Criticism republished my updated definitive 2nd article--highlighting it as one of the best articles on Bierce's short stories in the past several decades.
