The exhibit features the creative work of current UNCW students, carefully chosen for the show by faculty from the Department of Art & Art History. The exhibit also includes select examples of book art chosen by the Department of Creative Writing.
The exhibit is free and open to the public and will run through April 27th. Special thanks to Topher Alexander, exhibits manager for UNCW’s Cultural Arts Building Art Gallery, for installing the 2018 UNCW Student Art Invitational.
Randall Library will recruit judges to rate the art – which include paintings, drawings, and other visual works – and select a “best in show.” The winning student’s work will be added to Randall Library’s permanent art collection and the top three finalists will receive prizes.
