Many campus recreation departments utilize incentives to stimulate interest and student participation in departmental programs. Yet, little consideration is often given to the positive and negative impact associated with the administration of these programs on the individual or the department. This session will outline various incentive programs and how programmers can avoid pitfalls and maximize benefits when structuring these initiatives.
