Abstract
- Children participating the program are given a barcode. Upon arrival at school, the barcode is scanned, providing information on miles walked, CO2 and money saved, and progress towards a previously identified incentive. Simultaneously, the student's parents receive a notification that their child has arrived safely at school. Through associated programming, students may earn incentives for choosing an active transportation mode to school.
