Abstract
- Seven absorbed residues, four associated soil samples, and one visible residue were submitted for residue analysis from Colonoware sherds recovered from the Dean Hall site (38BK2132). Of the residues, one did not have sufficient residue for interpretation, but all others contained a mixture of plant and animal resources with a wide range of plant resources. Three sherds potentially contained fish components, and two contained unusual polyaromatic hydrocarbons typical of soot.
