I grew up in Massillon, Ohio, attended the University of Akron, Miami University, and Cleveland State University (from which I received a Ph.D. in Urban Studies and Public Affairs). I have a beautiful wife, Beth, and two lovely daughters, Mary Lou and Carmella.
