My teaching interests lie at the intersection of Spanish language instruction and its practical applications in professional fields, particularly in healthcare and social work. With 11 years of experience teaching Spanish for Healthcare Professionals in the Online Accelerated Program (OAP), I have developed a deep understanding of how language proficiency enhances communication and cultural competency in professional settings.

I had the opportunity to develop and design an asynchronous, semester-long Spanish 120 Social Work course. My commitment to expanding professional Spanish education is reflected in my recent grant-funded project to develop a Spanish course for the professions, which will further integrate language learning with real-world applications across various career paths.

In addition to my work in professional Spanish, I teach in-person Spanish courses at the introductory and intermediate levels.
