White, Tara

Dr. Tara Y. White is a historian of African American, Southern women’s, public, and civil rights history. She has taught undergraduate courses in American history and African American history and graduate courses in U.S. social and public history. She has worked with various museums, historic sites, and history organizations as a public historian since 1994. She has published book reviews and articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to edited works and encyclopedia entries.
