Dr. B. Suzy Diggle-Fox has completed her PhD from Capella University as a Nurse Educator, Master’s of Science from Hunter College as a Nurse Practitioner and has her BSN from Downstate Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. In addition she has experience as a Nurse’s Aide and a Licensed Practical Nurse. She is both a Geriatric and an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Dr. B. S. Diggle has been a Nurse Practitioner since 1988 and has practiced within various areas, both inpatient and outpatient. B. Suzy Diggle earned her PhD in Nursing Education March 2014. She completed the Edmond J. Safra Visiting Nurse Faculty Program at the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation April 2017. Dr. B. Suzy Diggle is an Assistant Clinical Professor within a full-time faculty position at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. In addition, she is a volunteer nurse practitioner at the New Hanover Senior Center for the Parkinson's Support Group as well as the senior center in general. Dr Suzy Diggle-Fox also volunteers to give COVID 19 vaccines in the community. March 2022 she became a Dementia Educator by NCCDP. Lastly, Dr Suzy Diggle-Fox is continuing her education to be a sexuality educator and counselor specializing in gerontology. In the Fall of 2022 she completed a training to be able to facilitate a Unitarian Universalist Older Adult Sexuality course. Dr. Suzy Diggle-Fox received a Corbett Grant and is working on facilitating the above group. Within this grant her gola is to increase old adult's knowledge, confidence and positive attitudes towards older adults and their entire lives and their sexuality.
