Description
Nursing and medical students need to be well-prepared for telehealth encounters as future healthcare providers. Despite support from the National Organization for Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) for integrating telehealth education into APRN programs, there is no established protocol for preparing students for these consultations. This poster discusses how clinical faculty became telehealth certified and collaborated with the UNCW simulation department to create telehealth scenarios utilizing standardized patient virtual visits.
