Research Overview

  • My research agenda focuses on mathematics teachers’ understanding and use of students’ mathematics within their instructional practices. Currently, I am investigating the aspects of students’ mathematical thinking that teachers notice during classroom practice and how that student thinking influences the instructional decisions made by the teachers.
