  • William Opoku-Agyeman holds a PhD. in Health Services Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master of Science Degree in Geographic Information Science from the University of Akron, Ohio, and master’s in public health from Kent State University in Ohio. He is also a graduate of KNUST, Ghana.

    Research Overview

  • His research interest focuses on hospital’s population health management (health promotion activities and community needs assessment), Information technology (IT) exchanges across healthcare systems and IT workforce that support healthcare, hospital robotics, health disparities, big data, spatial machine learning, and location of health care organizations as a function of strategy. His research utilizes a wide range of statistical methodologies with large national databases. His work has been published in several journals including Health Care Management Review, European Journal of Science, Journal of Healthcare Management, American Journal of Health Promotion, and Population Health Management.
