Research Overview

  • Benthic ecology, specifically those environments in the estuarine and nearshore coastal ocean and bottom habitats adjacent to offshore and nearshore structural habitats. Investigations of trophic linkages, habitat dynamics and ecosystem services are a primary focus as well as culture of key invertebrates from these habitats.
  • Teaching Overview

  • I currently teach Applied Learning courses in Biology and Marine Biology Dept, as well as research methods, and online non-majors biology courses. I also teach a variety of independent study courses that provide hands on learning experiences.
